P R E F A C E The Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office VIII firmly believes that a satisfied client is the best measure of quality service; thus, this Citizen’s Charter was created. This aims to promote better understanding between the clients and CHEDRO VIII. This also sets standards for fair as well as quality service pursuant to Republic Act No. 9485, otherwise known as the “Anti Red-Tape Act of 2007.”
With the purpose of making CHED’s standards of service delivery public, this Charter highlights CHEDRO VIII’s commitment towards transparency and accessibility of information and services; hence, this includes clear descriptions of the various processes and procedures as well as the fees charged by the agency. CHEDRO VIII Vision and Mission as well as the directory of officials are also contained in this Charter. Finally, to continually improve its public service, CHEDRO VIII provides its clients an avenue for their suggestions and recommendations through a simple feedback mechanism. |
